Description
The Ultimate in Back Health: The CoreChair Elite! The newest member to the CoreChair product family, which incorporates our patented active sitting feature and continues to focus on optimal postural positioning with the combination of it’s sculpted seat and pelvic stabilizer introducing the Clever spine to allow natural body movement.
The new dynamic back support introduces a patent pending spine complex that connects the seat pan and pelvic stabilizer to an upper support pad that allows for natural extension, flexion and rotation of your thoracic spine. This will offer an elevated level of comfort with the ability to recline and twist your mid to upper back, in addition to the fluid motion of up to 14 degrees in all directions, and the ability to sit in an upright, balanced and engaged position as comparable to the CoreChair Classic.

The Critical Difference
Traditional High-Back Chairs:
- Provide static upper back support
- Restrict natural movement
- Force prolonged static postures
- Lead to muscle fatigue and pain
CoreChair Elite Tall Back:
- Provides dynamic upper back support
- Enables natural movement
- Allows continuous postural variation
- Prevents muscle fatigue and pain
The Clever Spine ensures that upper back support enhances rather than interferes with CoreChair’s patented active sitting mechanism. Your pelvis remains properly positioned and actively engaged while your upper back receives adaptive support throughout your full range of motion.
This is ergonomic design that works with your body’s need for movement, not against it—delivering the support of a high-back chair without sacrificing the therapeutic benefits of active sitting.
Rethinking Arm Support Design: The arm supports on the CoreChair Elite represent a departure from conventional chair armrests that often feel bulky, restrictive, or poorly positioned. Instead, CoreChair Elite features low-profile arm supports that are non-intrusive yet highly effective—providing support precisely when and where you need it without limiting your movement or workspace access.
Two Models, One Core Philosophy: Both the Classic and Elite deliver CoreChair’s fundamental therapeutic benefit: eliminating back pain through pelvic positioning and movement. The Elite simply offers an additional support option for users who want upper back contact during certain tasks or positions, making it ideal for those who spend long hours at their desk and value positional variety without sacrificing the active sitting principles that make CoreChair uniquely effective.

Once you have received, and built your new CoreChair, we recommend the following video instructions to ensure that you have adjusted all of the settings for a perfect fit. This will ensure your chair is set at the right height, form, and balance for optimal postural support and movement management.

ELITE

I literally had the Anthros in my shopping cart.
The shipping/duties values didn’t make sense and I reached out to them to get confirmation.
If I was going to fork out 3k+ Canadian, I wanted this nailed down in advance.
That said, while I was waiting for them to get back to me “the next day” (this was 3-4 weeks ago and they still havent followed up with me) I came across the CoreChair elite.
I had seen CoreChair years back and it was appealing but I didn’t want to get a chair without a back.
The way I saw it… if I was prepared to spend $3k+ on the Anthros… I might as well try the Corechair elite first and return it if it doesnt work for me.
I’m on my third week…. LOWER BACK PAIN GONE.
Was dealing with it for about 2 months, and then had hernia surgery 5 weeks which had me mostly bed ridden for 3 weeks, which aggravated it even further.
THIS WAS THE MOVE.
I was worried that it was going to feel like an ab crunch all day… it’s subtle and you can adjust how much it moves.
Posture never been better and improving by the day.
Had a bit of soreness mid-end of last week which I’ve learned is normal as your body relearns how to be in good posture.
I had the movement on max so I dialed it back to halfway ish to ease my body into it and no soreness this week.
Will give it another week or two before dialing up the movement again.
Very pumped that I went this route. Highly recommend. I may even get a second one for another room.
Thank you for sharing all of this — really appreciate the detail!
That’s a meaningful result, and we’re glad the CoreChair Elite delivered.
You also instinctively did the right thing by dialing back the movement when the soreness kicked in. That adjustment period is real, and easing into it makes a big difference in how your body responds long-term.
Your body just needs a little time to remember what good posture feels like.
A second one for another room — we’ll take that as a good sign ? Thanks again for the recommendation, and for helping others who are doing their research make a more informed decision.
I’ll start with the obvious, the chair is incredible. As someone who works from home full time, I can actually feel it doing its job, while I’m comfortable and that’s everything.
But honestly, what blew me away was the customer service. I ran into an issue (completely my own fault), and the owner personally FaceTimed me to walk me through it. He was so kind and patient, no judgment, just genuine care. As a millennial, I don’t think I’ve ever experienced that level of personal service from a company. It felt like a different era, in the best possible way.
And the packaging? Whoever packed this chair clearly took pride in their work. Everything was thoughtful and intentional, from design through execution, you could just tell.
This is the kind of small business that deserves every bit of support. You’re buying into people who actually care. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!
First of all, I LOVE my CoreChair Elite, a game changer for me.
Assembly was super easy…but I’m an hvac mechanic so…it probably helps.
I’ve been looking for a chair forever!!!
I do not like big executive chairs, and I do not like armrests.
I move fast and a lot during my day.
I’ve tried a bunch of stools, cushioned ones, hard ones, inflatable ones, and others that look like saddles.
I’ve tried small chairs….
When I saw your ad on facebook, I said THAT’S IT, that’s the one!!
I hesitate between a stool and the Elite models, I think both would’ve been fine.
The big selling point for me was the moving/tilting center joint, I do not know what to call it.
That function is awesome, a bit weird for most of my staff, but perfect for me.
I think you should aim for sports people…we like to move!!
This is my second CoreChair Elite. One for my main desk in my upstairs office, and one for a small one I keep downstairs when I need a change. In the beginning, with my first chair, it took a while to get used to it and there was a fair level of discomfort. But I gave it a chance and once my body adjusted to the correct posture position – it was perfect. So odd, but true. After spending time at the desk downstairs – I quickly realized I needed to have my CoreChair when working there. The old chair was causing pain. That’s when I then knew I had to get another CoreChair to avoid moving the chair up and down the stairs when I switched desks. Lisa told me about an open-box black Elite chair at a discount – and I made the purchase. Very happy and comfortable working at both desks!
Thank you Robin for sharing about your experience with your Elite. And thank you for your repeat business. So happy to know you are happy and comfortable at both of your desks.
I absolutely love my chair, it has made such a difference to my day-to-day working. I have fibromyalgia and I have a whiplash injury that has caused daily pain since April 2006 and this chair has improved it significantly and reduced the impact that office work has on my pain levels. I’m also only 5ft tall and this is the first chair that I can comfortably put my feet on the floor. I had been provided a chair that cost a similar amount by an occ health team and it was dreadful and I sent it back after 2 weeks. I am so happy I did so and that I found the Elite chair.
