I literally had the Anthros in my shopping cart.
The shipping/duties values didn’t make sense and I reached out to them to get confirmation.
If I was going to fork out 3k+ Canadian, I wanted this nailed down in advance.
That said, while I was waiting for them to get back to me “the next day” (this was 3-4 weeks ago and they still havent followed up with me) I came across the CoreChair elite.
I had seen CoreChair years back and it was appealing but I didn’t want to get a chair without a back.
The way I saw it… if I was prepared to spend $3k+ on the Anthros… I might as well try the Corechair elite first and return it if it doesnt work for me.
I’m on my third week…. LOWER BACK PAIN GONE.
Was dealing with it for about 2 months, and then had hernia surgery 5 weeks which had me mostly bed ridden for 3 weeks, which aggravated it even further.
THIS WAS THE MOVE.
I was worried that it was going to feel like an ab crunch all day… it’s subtle and you can adjust how much it moves.
Posture never been better and improving by the day.
Had a bit of soreness mid-end of last week which I’ve learned is normal as your body relearns how to be in good posture.
I had the movement on max so I dialed it back to halfway ish to ease my body into it and no soreness this week.
Will give it another week or two before dialing up the movement again.
Very pumped that I went this route. Highly recommend. I may even get a second one for another room.

Just received my chairs I ordered the sport and the elite. Over the last few years I have had issues with my legs going numb or burning when sitting or standing over prolonged periods. I have tried lots of types of seating to take the pressure off of my sacrum and coccyx. After 3 days of using the core chair I have not had any issues with the neuropathy. Customer service is fantastic. Immediate response to inquiries. Willing to help out any way possible. I am in the process of also ordering the classic for use in my home.

I’ll start with the obvious, the chair is incredible. As someone who works from home full time, I can actually feel it doing its job, while I’m comfortable and that’s everything.
But honestly, what blew me away was the customer service. I ran into an issue (completely my own fault), and the owner personally FaceTimed me to walk me through it. He was so kind and patient, no judgment, just genuine care. As a millennial, I don’t think I’ve ever experienced that level of personal service from a company. It felt like a different era, in the best possible way.
And the packaging? Whoever packed this chair clearly took pride in their work. Everything was thoughtful and intentional, from design through execution, you could just tell.

First of all, I LOVE my CoreChair Elite, a game changer for me.
Assembly was super easy…but I’m an hvac mechanic so…it probably helps.

I’ve been looking for a chair forever!!!
I do not like big executive chairs, and I do not like armrests.
I move fast and a lot during my day.
I’ve tried a bunch of stools, cushioned ones, hard ones, inflatable ones, and others that look like saddles.
I’ve tried small chairs….
When I saw your ad on facebook, I said THAT’S IT, that’s the one!!
I hesitate between a stool and the Elite models, I think both would’ve been fine.

The big selling point for me was the moving/tilting center joint, I do not know what to call it.
That function is awesome, a bit weird for most of my staff, but perfect for me.
I think you should aim for sports people…we like to move!!

I’m practicing nails and was on the search for a seat that provided great back support. I ordered a few chairs from Amazon and still had back pain. I absolutely love my chair, it has made such a difference to my day-to-day working. I have fibromyalgia and I have a whiplash injury that has caused daily pain since April 2006 and this chair has improved it significantly and reduced the impact that office work has on my pain levels. I’m also only 5ft tall and this is the first chair that I can comfortably put my feet on the floor. I had been provided a chair that cost a similar amount by an occ health team and it was dreadful and I sent it back after 2 weeks. I am so happy I did so and that I found the Elite chair.

The chair is great; I never got to use it at my office as a member of staff took it before I could hide it !!
I saw the chair at a customers facility in FL.
Looks strange but its a great chair once you realize it works all day long to strengthen your core and makes you sit up straight at the desk.

Everything went well with the assembly, and I am very happy with the chair so far. While working in IT for almost 20 years now, I have come to appreciate the creeping wear and tear on my body from being static for 8 hours a day. I have been experimenting with several different kneeling chairs in an attempt to keep clots from forming in my legs over the last 5 or so years (this happened to a coworker and I found it alarming). The last chair I had would rock back and forth to help keep good posture and encourage movement in the lower back. This worked ok for a while but with time, the bolts kept coming loose and the padding compressed, which was applying to much pressure to my right thigh. In searching online for a new office chair that prevents leg clots, I came across your site. I am Canadian. I’m a “Session Musician” (piano player) and also a Composer/Arranger/Producer which means that I spend a LOT of time sitting – either because I’m performing live or in my studio or creating scores and charts for live or session projects. So far so good! I’m a lash artist and I’m sitting up to 12 hours 3/4 days a week and I was recommended this chair from a fellow artist. The lower back support is great. I am slowly experiencing decreasing aches and pains as I adjust to the chair. It’s definitely a necessity if you sit all day and looking for support for your body.

I originally thought I’d get the Turbo chair – but was put off by the wheels, I have a sit stand work station and I needed a seat that wouldn’t scurry away on me when I tried to sit down! Although retired I still do some volunteer stuff from home that requires me to sit for longer than I’d like at any age! Enter the CorePerch! Easy to assemble, and very comfortable. I’d been using a stool before, but found that it was easy to get tired as there was no way to allow my body to move easily as I reached across my desk for things, or twisted to access something from a drawer. This is my third Core chair, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Years ago, when I faced back issues from long hours of sitting as a therapist, I found Core. Since then, I’ve rehabbed my back, and the Core chair has kept those problems at bay. I bought a second chair for our office administrator and another for my home office. I just got my chair today. It is super comfortable and as a Chiropractor I am pretty picky with my chairs. I love that I have full movement in my lumbar spine. The chair feels supportive but moves with me. Its awesome!

Putting it together was straightforward and complete set up was done in under 30 minutes.
Adjusting it to my workstation was easy and after a bit I found the best fit for myself.
I found CoreChair by doing my research; I am in a position that requires sitting for long periods of time. I knew that I needed to change my seating arrangement and fast. I am a very active person with scoliosis and a torn hip labrum.
I have done quite a bit of research and while looking for an active chair that was going to be an ergonomic fit has been a challenge for the last 30 years. The chair was easy to put together, and finally my desk is comfortable to sit at. I have a serious back issue and have been more than a little uncomfortable at my home desk for awhile now. The chair’s adjustable features and encouragement of movement are helping enable me to sit at the desk with far less pain. Previously after several hours in meetings b2b I found myself unable to concentrate on the meeting content, now I can be more productive again, without the distraction of pain.

I can even store the chair away in my closet easily because the wheels are so smooth and the footprint is not huge! This lets me clear off my desk at night now vs. stare at the rigged up mess in my bedroom/office area! As you can see, it fits neatly into the closet.

I have Ankylosing Spondylitis, this chair is incredible for me. Had a Steelcase Leap V2 and a Saddle chair. This chair is so much more comfortable in every way. It also promotes my mobility, which is super critical for this condition. I would highly recommend to anyone who also is afflicted with “Bamboo Spine”.

I used to have four different office chairs. Each one had something I liked, and something that would result in back pain after hours of use. Every couple of hours I would change chairs. Now I have the CoreChair, which combines everything I like about each of the other chairs. My back is happy now.

I am a nail tech and sit leaning forward all day filing fingernails and this chair has been a game changer. I no longer have the upper back under the shoulder blades pain that I would get from working 8-9 hour days. First day and it was such a difference! Amazing!! So comfortable!

Helped my back so much I couldn’t believe it. I’ve only had it a few months but I wish I bought it years ago.

Assembly with the videos was straightforward – far better than the cryptic IKEA type paper symbology. I am using this for playing classical guitar and I find the ability to move the seat in all directions unique and useful, not only to allow the body to lead/follow the music a bit, but also – keep moving. The seat is very comfortable. The low back allows good bracing but might take some people a bit of time to adjust to, as it does require (and modestly maintain) a bit more “core” strength – although holding this does not seem to cause any fatigue, at least for the 2 hour sessions I use it at a time. The only slight drawback is that for musicians playing instruments like classical guitar and cello that require the legs to be angled slightly apart, the indented shape of the seat cushion causes the right leg to sit on the risen part and the rise in the center sometimes bumps up against the bottom of the guitar. This is an inconvenience, but minor as the foam is soft. An alternate asymmetric seat for such musicians would be an improvement. (The market for this would be smaller of course, but the product differentiation could be an advantage in sales.)

Yes! I set up my core chair and I LOVE it so far!!! I am a very busy nail technician in Winnipeg, I am the only nail tech at a very busy hair salon and until recently worked for the owners and used whatever chair they provided me. I now rent my space and I can buy what I want/need myself! Yay! Lol. I’ve been doing nails for over 30 years and the last few years have been terrible on my back, mostly due to my chair! I had purchased a little bit higher small bar stool type, but that didn’t help AT ALL. I primarily have upper back pain, between my shoulder blades, but it is excruciating. The Core Chair was recommended to me by a colleague and fellow EM physician. She bought it after back surgery for severe scoliosis and spinal stenosis. I was looking for something to help with sciatica. I was finding my sciatica worse after even 5 minutes on a regular decent quality office chair or in the car. The chair is fantastic in that it doesn’t trigger my sciatica at all and I’ve been able to catch up on a pile of paper work. My desk is not ideal, but I do know the changes I’ll need to make. I wish you had a car cushion. The ones I have bought are just “ok”, compared to the core chair.

I absolutely love the tango chair. The chair was incredibly easy to assemble and is a perfect fit for my work station. I often have trouble finding a chair I can sit in ergonomically thanks to my 5’2” height. The tango chair allows me to sit comfortably, without feeling like a child in a high-chair! I received my Core Perch and it was very easy to assemble. I am using it with my sit/stand desk at work. So far so good. It takes a bit of getting used to, but I like it. I found this product when searching online for the highest-rated desk stools. My chiropractor recommended that I use a stool rather than a chair at my desk to help develop and support my back. I found your customer support very helpful when and after I made my purchase.

The process of buying and receiving the core chair was one of excellence in action. I have a learning disability. I get overwhelmed immediately when there are instructions. I was surprised and appreciated that they sent, written and video instructions, before the arrival of the chair so I could prepare myself and watch and read the instructions a few times before to avoid overwhelm. They just had the perfect amount of communication around everything that needed to happen before and upon arrival. I love the chair. I have purchased beautiful artisan wood ergonomic swivel chairs from Maine previously for my massage practice but found as beautiful as they were; I broke two seats and a client broke the last seat. I put too much wear and tear on the wood seats due to my weight and my need to angle my body when sitting. They always replaced the seat but I clearly needed to find another alternative. I also needed a better alternative than an exercise ball I have used for years to sit by the bedside or an armchair of elders I am caring for and during death processes. I love my Core Chair!! I purchased mine in May 2019. After 2+ years of use I will never go back to another chair at work. With my old chair, even with adjustments, I would get soreness in my lower back most days. My old chair also had arm rests and I thought I would miss them but I don’t! (they promoted bad posture). The Core Chair actively engages my core muscles throughout the day and it is SO comfortable! If you’re looking for an ergonomic chair, I would highly recommend the Core Chair.

One phone call, several adjustments equals 5-star rating
I received my Classic CoreChair for Christmas. I followed all the videos’ advice for adjusting the chair, but I still had an issue with hip/knee pain and my ankles swelling while using the chair. It got to the point I could only sit in the chair for 10 minutes before the pain started and I had to switch back to my old office chair. My last resort before sending the chair back was to contact CoreChair. I sent them an email explaining my issues and if there were any other adjustments I could try. I got a response back almost immediately and was asked to send a picture of me sitting at my desk, from the side. I sent a pictures and waited for a response. I received a call from Patrick Harrison himself and we talked for a good 20-30 minutes. He gave me several adjustments to do with the chair and one adjustment to make with my desk setup. The next day, I gave my new setup a go and 4 hours later, NO PAIN and NO SWELLING! This is amazing and I am still in awe of the customer service. Thank you so much!

The core chairs are amazing! I have both kinds and interchange them throughout the work day. Between the two chairs, adjustable desk, and cubi I try and stay as active as possible during such a sedentary job ?

whoever rated this chair as poor or bad ..they must not have had the chair adjusted properly and I strongly urge you to speak to the technical person at the company. He is great and will walk you through how the chair functions and how to set it up to get the benefit. I didn’t have mine set up properly and he helped me tremendously. The chair ,once set properly and once you sit in it correctly, you will feel a huge benefit. They understand anatomy and requirements of the body to have certain contact points with the chair. If you do not have them help you and expect to sit on the chair in any incorrect fashion you will not feel any benefit and even feel worse. Plse contact Core chair for their help. Just tweaking the way your body fits the chair makes a 1000% difference. I had spinal surgery and it is definitely helping me.

Back Pain Gone!
My office purchased a CoreChair for me when I was experiencing severe back pain. I found normal chairs encouraged bad posture and contributed to my pain. My CoreChair makes me sit up straight (using my core!) and I can actually use it to swivel my hips when I feel l need movement. I also like that it does not take up as much space – I have a sit/stand desk so I can push it to the side and have room to stand.
I love that you can control the tension and the chair is very comfortable. I was worried when I chose it but am VERY happy I took the leap!

I really like my CoreChair Classic. I was having a hard time deciding between the Classic and the Tango, but am glad I got the Classic. I keep the adjustment set to the maximum amount of movement, and don’t find it hard at all to be perfectly still if I want to be, or to move a lot, which I do frequently.
Overall, the materials feel high quality, and the recycled fabric is quite nice. The casters roll easily over various floor coverings. The small back provides just enough support to sit for long periods of time comfortably. It did take a bit of getting used to, and I alternated between the CoreChair and my regular chair for a few weeks, but no longer need to do that.
My one comment is that I find the dip in the seat at the sit bones to be a bit too deep and wide for my small framed behind, but solved the problem by cutting a piece of 1/2″ closed cell foam and placing it in the deepest part of the dip, which provides the additional support I need to make sitting more comfortable.

I love my Core Chair! It is very comfortable and allows me to keep moving while sitting for long periods. This chair is the best chair I have had a chance to experience! The seat is soft and supportive at the same time and the moving base keeps me feeling relaxed and flexible. I have not found these benefits in any other chair. So I am extremely happy with my Core Chair! I actually have two – one at the office and one at home. Bought the budget Tango… very impressed. I have a bad back for 7 years and too much sitting for work is the main reason. I have been looking for a chair to promote good posture and prevent the back lockup I experience when getting up after more than 10min of sitting (kind of a 20 sec performative dance recreating human evolution, from crouched to mostly homo-erectus). With a lot of gimmick chairs the problem is you pay too much attention to it, and either you quit or doesn’t really help in the end. With this chair, you have total freedom movement in the hips and you do have to stabilize yourself; yet, it takes a couple of seconds to adjust, and by day two you completely forget about the chair, except when you move (freely) to stretch out. I instantly assume perfect posture when in it, which is kind of mind blowing. My bad side is my left, and I am finding that my “strong side” has weak points that feel like they are getting a workout. I don’t feel like I am straining on the chair, but, again end of day 2, I went for my nightly walk and realized some muscles in my back and hips feel like they have been through a workout. And my abs were detectably sore. Most importantly, I can stand up straight away from the chair without spasms or the old man impression. Long story short, it’s working for me.

Amazing chair and just what I needed! As a therapist I spend hours of my day sitting. This allows me to be present for my client and feel structurally balanced throughout the day. My only regret is that I didn’t know about this sooner.

I really enjoy the core chair. I’ve been working from home for awhile and have tried quite a few gadgets. I got the seat cushions and all that. Still not great. The core chair is a worthwhile purchase. I got the tango, the most basic model and I think it’s worth every penny. My back feels better and I’m reminded to strengthen my core. When you work from a computer, you basically live in your chair. This is great in combination with a stand up desk because I can constantly be activated

I spent several hours searching for the best office chair to meet my needs before settling on the CoreChair, Tango model. Ordering online was easy and shipment updates were more than satisfactory. The instructions to assemble the CoreChair were super simple.
It took a few days at my desk to get used to the unique features of the CoreChair, almost immediately though the comfort of the moulded seat was apparent. I have now used this chair 5-6 days per week for a couple months and I can attest to it being one of the most comfortable office chairs I’ve ever tried.
My posture has improved, I am experiencing much less fatigue in my middle to lower back and less headaches which means more productivity. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase of the CoreChair and would recommend it to those that especially have a hard time sitting because of back or seat issues.

I really like the Core Chair, as it prevents me from slouching and reinforces proper posture. It is comfortable and provides the low back support I need. It also takes up less space so I can easily push it aside and use my standing desk from time to time. I went back to my old chair briefly and, in one day, my back pain had returned. Never again!

Totally exceeded my expectations. My bulging disc pain was reduce at least 60-70% in the first week of use!
Only thing I might say is that the resistance isn’t balanced on my one chair. There is more resistance when leaning left vs right when fully open. But it’s a minor thing and may just need to work in. But I still give it a full 5 stars! It’s amazing!

The chair is terrific! I can sit comfortably for 2 1/2 hours without getting up and stretching my legs. At the end of the work day, I don’t experience any back discomfort or pain. Highly recommend the chair. As well, it looks really cool in my office.

First, the customer service was exceptional! My CoreChair is exceedingly comfortable and very supportive of my back, which allows me to completely relax. There’s no doubt that the washable upholstery on the Sport CoreChair has proven to be the best choice for me… Simply put, the Sport CoreChair exceeds all my expectations! I will recommend it to everyone.

I brought my chair to work and the first day I sat in it I went home with no pain! I had some soreness in my back due to different muscles being used, but I went home without the tailbone osteoarthritis pain that made me walk bent over. I thought this can’t be right, I’m sure I will have pain tomorrow. The same thing happended, no pain. So no pain, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and just minor pain on Friday. If the cycle of no pain starts over again on Monday, I will be one happy camper.

When I originally emailed the company to purchase a chair, I was told they could not ship to me because of where I lived. I asked them to reconsider and they did. They also gave me a discount on the shipping that they had quoted me because it wasn’t as much as they thought.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this company and about their product. If you have back pain, for whatever reason, just try the chair. I couldn’t believe it. My pain is from osteoarthritis and it is making such a difference for me, it could make a difference for you too.

I am really enjoying the core chair for work and regular use.

I still sit too much, but my back no longer hurts after a 12 hour day. I do find myself correcting my posture and not hunching over my desk.

The core chairs are amazing! I have both kinds and interchange them throughout the work day. Between the two chairs, adjustable desk, and cubi I try and stay as active as possible during such a sedentary job ?

Best Chair! I ever had!

I’ve been waiting until I was sure of my experience before submitting my review. Until I purchased a Classic CoreChair a couple of months ago, I’d been using an Evolution ball chair for years. For me, good sitting posture, free movement and mobility at my desk were already a given.

Over the last year, though, I’ve been having back issues and sciatic-like pain in one hip and leg, and my chiropractor often commented that my SI joints were slightly misaligned. Those musculoskeletal issues prompted my online search for a chair that promised lower back support along with the mobility and postural support I was used to.

The Classic, along with daily targeted exercise, is helping. That said, I do find the pressure of the chair’s back hard against my sensitive spine, so I soften the pressure with an inflatable lumbar cushion (or lean forward). This is not a chair that encourages relaxation, but I think my body is the better for it.

I have been wanting to order this chair ever since I tried it out at my chiropractor’s office. I purchased it due to receiving a new job where I’d be sitting for the majority of my shift. This chair has relieved my back and leg pains tremendously compared to the traditional computer chair I was sitting on. Highly recommend Core Chair for anyone suffering from an autoimmune disease and/ or chronic inflammatory diseases.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my CoreChair! I’ve had it for about 3 months now and have had NO lower back pain, NO neck or upper back pain and am so happy with how comfortable I feel sitting in it for hours at a time. I thought I’d miss a higher back rest but not at all. I never get a pressure point on my butt, and I feel far less tired or fidgety due to discomfort which would happen with my other office chairs.

The chair came quickly, beautifully packed, and it was easy and quick to put together. This Core Chair is wonderful. I really like the curvature of the cushion and especially like the “back rest” which is really a lumbar rest. I love moving in it as well and it has made working at my computer a completely different experience.

I love my Core Chair even more than I hoped I would
I’ve been in touch with Core Chair customer service a few times over the past 6-8 months because I was hoping for a chair with a height range that incorporates both the small and large sizes. I’ve had some increased revenue in my business lately and finally decided to order my Core Chair with the Black Friday sale. I reached out by Chat again to confirm the availability of the 2-stage gas chair, they responded positively very quickly and I hit submit on my order. What’s even more incredible is that it arrived 3 days later on a Sunday! I love it even more than I hoped I would! I wish I had ordered it months ago!

Tools are just that …. tools. Even a great tool is only a game changer when you use it correctly and master the possibilities. CoreChair is a great tool and active sitting is a super activity for core strength maintenance and low back structural stability. I’m an elder (68 years old) musician with low back, shoulder and knee issues (joint replacements) that were keeping me away from my instrument. After about 3 weeks working with the CoreChair I’m able to sit and play/create longer without much of the nagging stiffness and pain that was stopping my ability to focus and enjoy my playing. I’ve taken the extra time to explore its design and tailor settings and movements to my unique physiology and biomechanics. Take time to use, understand and adjust to this tool. I did.
