Where it all began
The CoreChair Classic is our flagship product that was inspired by the trending use of stability balls in the office as a solution to sedentary prolonged sitting. With it’s movement’s pivot point located directly below the seat pan, its user is able to engage in movement from the seated position in a controlled manner, as to avoid over-activating the core-stabilizing muscles. The ergonomic and active design of the classic became a much-loved innovation that eventually led to the curation of the other great products in the CoreChair lineup.
CoreChair exceeded all of the BIFMA safety and durability criteria but our goal was to go well beyond these standards to achieve a quality outcome that allowed us to provide a 8 year warranty.

The CoreChair Elite has been introduced to the lineup as a response to the hesitation by consumers concerned regarding the absence of a taller back support. As it is something that most individuals have come to expect in a traditional ergonomic office chair, the Elite has been scientifically designed to mimic the support of a taller back office chair, whilst still allowing the freedom of movement in the upper spine. Using the research proven design of the CoreChair Classic, the Elite maintains many of the originals’ benefits including a sculpted seat, pelvic stabilizer, and of course – movement!

All the back support you need
CoreChair’s ergonomic sculpted seat and supportive pelvic stabilizer work together to position your pelvis in an upright vertical orientation which encourages your spine to find a natural balance. If you want the extra support for when you’re ready to disengage and take a break, the Elite provides just enough to let you rest while maintaining proper balance, and movement of the spine.
Arm Rest Free for better posture
For optimal seated posture, full-length armrests are not needed; they may even encourage poor habits like leaning, which disrupts posture and increases forearm pressure. Ideal positioning requires loose upper arms and elbows at or just above 90 degrees, with hands on the work surface. When you’re leaning back for a break the discrete armrests of the Elite will give you just enough support to momentarily take the load off without disrupting posture.
